Nomad Festival arrives at Malgrat de Mar


The next weekend of 2nd,3rd and on the 4th of July, the Francesc Macià Park in Malgrat de Mar will be filled with colors, culture, music and a lot of parties: The Nomad Festival has arrived!

The entrance to the festival will be free and the workshops for the little ones will have to be paid with a symbolic price. The workshops are geared towards boys and girls from 0 to 12 years.

At first, the festival was to be celebrated during the summer of the last year, but for reasons related to the pandemic generated by COVID-19, it has to be postponed for this year.

The Nomad Festival has been offering a variety proposal of outdoor cultural disciplines since the summer of 2016 and it has toured different municipalities in Catalonia like Barcelona, Girona, Tortosa, Salou and Sant Feliu de Guíxols, among others.

The event will be held in Francesc Macià park from the entrance of the parking located in front of the Primary Health Center until the wooden bridge of the Sant Genís of Palafolls torrent.

There will be a market with designers and artisans with local products, as well as great musical performance, such as the Malavida group that will make versions of Spanish pop and rock from the 80s and 90s, or the Big Mouthers that will offer international rock versions, likewise, there will be a tribute to Dire Straits and ambient music. But this is not all, children can also enjoy good music with the Balla Nomad and Coloraines Band show.

Also, Nomad Festival is gastronomy, and there will be a wide and varied gastronomic offer with food trucks that will include a wide range of food for all tastes.
