Malgrat de Mar is promoted as a tourist destination in Fitur

Malgrat de Mar took part last week in Fitur, the International Tourism Fair which from 19 to 23 January became a global meeting point for professionals in the tourism sector.

This year’s edition was held marked by expectations of possible reactivation of the tourism sector during 2022, as the health pandemic is expected to improve in the coming months.

This year Malgrat de Mar took advantage of the fair to present the new tourist products designed to offer to the visitors to our town, one-day, weekend, or seven-day stays to live an experience in the town through history, the landscape, the natural spaces, and the gastronomy… because our town is much more than infinite beaches, also is culture and nature.

Our town was present at the fair inside the stand of Catalonia, at the counter of the Diputació de Barcelona with municipalities such as Santa Susanna, Pineda de Mar, Calella, and Mataró, among others.

Fitur is one of the most important events in the sector and brings together institutions, tour operators, hotels, travel agencies, and experts in tourism management.

This year’s edition, which reached its 42nd edition, was attended by almost 7,000 participants from all the Autonomous Communities, companies, and destinations in 107 countries.
