Malgrat is flat, and that is why it is a pleasure to walk or cycle around the town center and why most of the people choose walking or cycling to move around, both locals and visitors. The only high part of the municipality is Castell hill, which is located right in the centre of the town and currently connected to it with a steep lift, that takes visitors from the heart of Malgrat to the top of Castell Park.
