PARKS
Thanks to men creation it has been possible one of the most enviable environment of the area like the parks of “El Castell” and “Francesc Macià”.

Parc del Castell (Castle Park) is situated in a hill where you can contemplate a marvellous view of all the village. From its creation it has been possible a free entrance entertainment zone for all the people, a zone of different cultural events, children’s playgrounds and also some walks with botanic itineraries (there are 127 botanic species with each name in a label). Also in the Castle Park they play sometimes the “Aplec” (Festival of Sardana-Catalan Folk Dance), the festivities of “La Verneda” district, concerts, etc....

The different walks around the park make possible an approachment to the different habitats and mediterranean spices as the same time reduces the energetic maintenance costs and resources too.

PARK Francesc Macià it’s one of the largest park in the zone with an area of 40.000 m2  and offers a big variety of leisure and possibilities to spend an unforgettable day with all the family.

In there we can find some sculptural elements, didactics, botanical and sceneries, children’s stories elements, children’s playing area from 3 to 14 years old, you can make promenades, picnic and resting zone with children’s playing area for the most little ones, anphitheatre for cultural events, skating area, playground for all ages.... The ground also offers differents scrublands with vegetation making a natural environment.
