Malgrat de Mar is promoting the town in the country of Spain.

The hotels, the travel agency Iristour Vacances SL and the city council have signed an agreement to promote the town.

After several meetings with the general management of ISFAS ( National Institute of the Armed Forces) and the hotels of Malgrat, a new product is born with the double intention to promote the town and to extend the tourist season of the years 2010 and 2011. This promotion is directed to a group of 150000 persons older than 55 years.
The tourism and trade department of the city council has made an information brochure and it is being sent to the 70 delegations of the Defense Ministry of Spain. These delegations are the responsible to let know the promotions to their members.

The objective is to offer them the destination of Malgrat de Mar for their holidays in the low season for the years 2010 and 2011 , from March to June and from September to November.
